# Clients

> A client is one customer. This page is how they get into MSPilot and what you set on them.

A client is one of your customers. Seats, branding, policy, and conversation capture are all per client.

## How a client is created

Connect a PSA when you have one. [HaloPSA](/integrations/psa/halo-psa) and [Autotask](/integrations/psa/autotask) import companies and keep contacts in sync. ConnectWise PSA is listed in the product and import is not available yet.

With an RMM and no PSA, that RMM's organizations, sites, or groups become the clients. Use the connect guide for [NinjaOne](/integrations/rmm/ninja-one), [Datto](/integrations/rmm/datto), [ConnectWise RMM](/integrations/rmm/connectwise-rmm), [Level](/integrations/rmm/level), [ImmyBot](/integrations/rmm/immy-bot), or [Syncro](/integrations/rmm/syncro). Map each client to one vendor record. A vendor record maps to only one client.

**Standalone** is for an organization with no PSA and no RMM. You create each client yourself and install the agent with PowerShell. Standalone cannot be combined with a PSA or with another RMM.

## What you set on a client

Owners, admins, and staff save these. Members can view them.

| **Deployment**    | Seat cap, enrollment key, installer, and a check that the device came online                                        |
| **Devices**       | Machines for this client. Disable a device to take the seat back                                                    |
| **Policy**        | Cowork instructions, skills, connectors, plugins, and power models                                                  |
| **Branding**      | The name and banner technicians see in the apps                                                                     |
| **Conversations** | Whether prompt and response text is stored                                                                          |
| **Environment**   | Read-only: Microsoft Azure, this organization's region, Production or Sandbox, and the SOC 2, ZDR, and HIPAA badges |

The organization's home region is chosen once. The Environment tab shows that region. It is not a per-client picker.

Deleting this client permanently removes it from MSPilot, including local product data and agent assignments. The control is under **Danger zone** on the client's **Overview** tab.
