Open the client and choose Branding. There are two apps, Claude Desktop and ChatGPT. A preview sits next to the form. Save stores the values for every enrolled device of this client. Those devices apply them on the next config pull. Restore defaults saves the MSPilot defaults immediately, after you confirm. Owners, admins, and staff can save. Members can view.
This tab does not change skills, connectors, or plugins. Those are on Policy. Model name here is the label of MSPilot Auto. It does not rename the other models a power seat can pick. Those names stay on Seats.
Claude Desktop
- Sidebar name, 60 characters, one line. Shown in the sidebar footer and the account menu. Empty falls back to Gateway.
- Sidebar subtitle, 60 characters. Shown under the sidebar name in the account menu. When the computer name is hidden, it is also shown after the sidebar name. It has no effect until a sidebar name is set.
- Show computer name. On by default. Claude shows the signed-in computer name. It cannot replace that name with a brand.
- Model name, 80 characters. Shown in the Claude Desktop model picker. Default is MSPilot Auto.
- Show banner. Off by default. When it is off, Claude ignores the other banner settings.
- Banner, 200 characters, one line. A bar across the top of Claude Desktop after sign-in.
- Banner text color and Banner background.
#RRGGBB. Defaults are #000000 on #F5F5F5.
- Banner link. HTTPS only. The banner text becomes that link.
Restore sets the sidebar name and subtitle to empty (the sidebar shows Gateway), the model name to MSPilot Auto, the computer name to shown, and the banner to off.
ChatGPT
- Sidebar name, 80 characters. Sidebar footer and account menu. Empty falls back to MSPilot.
- Model name, 80 characters. The ChatGPT model picker. Default is MSPilot Auto. This labels the Auto slot only.
ChatGPT has no subtitle, computer-name switch, or banner. Restore sets the sidebar name to MSPilot and the model name to MSPilot Auto. Last modified on September 24, 2026
