Import

Open Scripts. Import conversations and skills brings ChatGPT and Claude conversations and skills from a Windows machine onto MSPilot. The tool opens a window on that machine. There is no macOS import tool in Admin. Someone has to be signed in. The job runs as that person. SYSTEM is rejected.

Choose a path

Pick the client when you want the RMM path. You can download the file without selecting a client. Scripts lists the fields for the connected RMM. The script name is MSPilot import. Give the job about 10 minutes (600 seconds).

Datto	Copy script. Save it as a Component. On Devices, choose Create a Job, not Quick Job. Add this Component and set Execution to Run as a logged in user
ConnectWise RMM	Copy script. Run as is Logged on user
Syncro	Copy script. Run as is Logged In User
N-sight RMM	Copy script. Save the task and run it as the logged-on user
Level	Copy script. Run as is Current user. Select the devices, run it, and Approve
ImmyBot	Copy script. Save it as Software. In SCRIPT DETAILS, set Execution Context to User
One Windows machine	Download `mspilot-import.exe`, double-click it, and choose Yes when Windows asks for permission

If you prefer PowerShell (Run as Administrator) for a downloaded file:

The RMM script and the downloaded file are the same short launcher. On every run it downloads mspilot-import.exe from https://downloads.mspilot.io/agent/<channel>/ and checks it against that channel’s SHA256SUMS. It saves the file to %LOCALAPPDATA%\MSPilot Import\mspilot-import.exe and adds MSPilot Import to that user’s desktop. A failed run prints mspilot_import_failed and exits 1.

On the machine

On the desktop, double-click MSPilot Import and choose Yes when Windows asks for permission. The title bar is MSPilot. The heading is Import conversations and skills. The apps you select close, then open again. Sign in inside each app. The window does not ask for a password. Leave the window open until the end. MSPilot turns back on by itself. Each app imports its 20 most recent conversations and all skills. The steps in the window are Prepare, Sign in, Import, and Finish. If the window cannot open, install the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime and run it again.
